Bethany is a full time working artist making a living entirely from her art. Bethany has sold just under 100 paintings in a year and has developed strategies for staying authentic in art making but also getting paid for it. Bethany has 7 years of coaching and mentorship experience in the charity sector. Bethany attended Camberwell College of Art in London and she has an honours degree in Art History and Theory. Bethany has coached artists with Nicholas Wilton’s Art2Life team and Art2Life Academy.

Bethany’s husband has a degree in Marketing and an MBA, which has facilitated additional understanding of effective marketing for artists. Bethany has developed her marketing approach combining her own experience with making use of industry standard strategies.

Bethany has a supportive and empathetic approach that is underpinned by a structured and clear thought process.

ONE to ONE sessions are conducted at eye level, in an informal but professional context for any artist looking for support in their work or business.

Sessions are about you and what you need so they are not specific to types of artists or how far along in your career you are. Sessions could be around your creative decisions, going professional with your art or deepening an existing art practice. We can discuss the creative process or focus on the business side, depending on what your needs are.

The artist’s journey can also be a solitary one: sometimes just having someone to talk to, who fully understands the joys, the challenges and the realities we face can be so wonderful! Bethany has her own mentor and she has regular sessions to talk, laugh and flesh out solutions to whatever problems arise. It helps so much.

It doesn’t matter what stage you’re at - a relative beginner or a seasoned artist looking to take a new direction - the ONE to ONE sessions will be aimed at gaining clarity for you right now.

1. You book a session on this page. You can book an initial hour long session and then book sessions as and when convenient and according to your needs.

2. We will arrange a time for our first session, which will be Monday to Friday during working hours UK time. If you are outside of the UK please ensure you are able to meet within (sort of!) UK working hours. I am occasionally able to do evenings and weekends if agreed in advance.

3. We will carry out the sessions on Zoom and I will send you a link in advance. Before your first session I will send you a questionnaire for you to fill out to ensure our time is not wasted with details. This will include links to your website, instagram handle etc and provide a basic introduction so we can get straight down to it on our call!

4. If you are unable to make the call I ask that you give 24 hours cancellation notice. Our time is valuable so showing organisation and commitment is key. If possible I will try and reschedule your appointment but time is extremely limited and this may not always be possible.

5. After the call I will send you a short bulleted list of key points covered and any specific action points. If you have agreed to recording the session this can also be sent to you to watch again later.

Sessions are carried out during the working day and evening UK time. If you are outside the UK and are unsure of scheduling please contact me using the contact button at the top of this page and we can check times and dates before you purchase.

Availability is extremely limited so that I can give you the best service possible. I will check what sorts of times suit you and then offer you a choice of at least 2 appointments.

That is entirely up to you! I will send you a brief form before we meet where you can indicate which areas require attention. It is essential that we are realistic about how much can be covered in the time so we could agree in advance which topics are of highest priority for you. If you wish to discuss a subject that I cannot help you with, I will tell you immediately so we don’t waste any of your valuable time.
